WHY WE JOINED
People join a sorority for many different reasons. Each reason is unique to that particular woman, which makes her stand out as an asset to the chapter she joined.

Well my freshman year I hardly met any new people. I made about 2 or 3 good friends the whole year. I also worked 2 jobs my spring semester and I knew I wanted to be more involved in something at school and meet a whole bunch of people. My best friend Brandon who is in a fraternity suggested sorority. So I went through and I fell in love with Sigma. Sigma was the most down to earth and genuinely wanted to get to know me.

I joined Tri Sigma as a freshman because I loved the genuine sisterhood. I was looking for a group of girls like my friends from high school, and in Sigma I found the friendliest, most down-to-earth people in all of Huntington.

I became interested in joining Sigma at first because my mom had been a part of it when she was in college. She has so many memories about the amazing sisterhood she had and I decided I wanted to experience it for myself. As soon as I walked in the door, I knew Sigma was the place for me, too.

I chose Sigma Sigma Sigma because the second I walked into the house and met all of the girls, I knew it was my home. I fit in perfectly and I loved the diverse group of girls that I met. I definitely felt a bond with the girls and the sorority from the very beginning. Everything Tri Sigma stands for and everything else about it made me love it even more as well and I knew it was the best decision I had ever made.
